GDAP offers free game programming course


Are you a fresh grad, or know of anyone who would like to pursue a career in teaching games? GDAP is giving FREE training. 

It's a full-time course, whole day, Mondays to Fridays, for 10 months. Again, it's free. The only catch is you need to finish the 10 months. Interested parties may email Mr. Stephen Cezar at pktcc@tesda.gov.ph for Entrance Exam Schedule. Apply kayo. The industry needs more game teachers.
 
Here are the full requirements:
 
  • Finished a Bachelors Degree in any Computer Studies Program [Computer Engineering is included] or anything related. 
  • With Skill Functions which will be validated by an entrance exam to be administered by the PhilKor HRDI using a tool devised by the Game Developers Association of the Philippines (GDAP).
  • Not only logical in structure, but has appreciation for art too.
  • Knowledge of at least one (1) programming language is a preference.
  • Has the capacity and confidence to communicate both in Filipino and English; this is both in oral and written form.
  • Physically able to manipulate a mouse, track-ball, electronic pen, etc.
  • Must have knowledge and love to play video/computer games in any platform.
  • Has the patience and passion to transfer his/her knowledge for Game Programming.
