GMA North-Central Luzon bags awards from Urdaneta City University

GMA North-Central Luzon won the nod of students at the Urdaneta City University in Pangasinan, at its third Communication Media Awards.

Mga katropa sa GMA North Central Luzon, nabigyan ng parangal sa 3rd Communication Media Awards ng isang Unibersidad sa Urdaneta City.

A university official said the students will be inspired by the practitioners excelling in their craft.

"Siyempre dito ang mga nakikita natin ang mga practitioners na talaga nag-e-excel sa kanilang craft. At dahil ang mga estudyante namin na Mass Comm, mas nai-inspire para pagbutihin din ang kanilang craft," said Rhea Agibuay, dean of the UCU College of Arts and Language.

The awardees from GMA North-Central Luzon included:

Alfie Tulagan, as best male field reporter
Jette Arcellana, as best female morning news anchor
Joyce Segui, as best female TV news anchor

Meanwhile, Renato Bagang won the scholar student award.
