The 12th USTv Students’ Choice Awards Night 

The 12th USTv Students’ Choice Awards Night is set to happen on April 21, 2016, 6 p.m., at the UST Plaza Mayor.

This year’s theme, “Veritas in Caritate: The Youth Empowering the Family through Modern Media,” focuses on the sociopolitical dimensions of the media. It coincides with upcoming Philippine national elections in May.

Advocating responsible voting and election awareness, the 2016 edition of the yearly event included two new categories: “Students’ Choice of TV and Public Service Announcement for National Elections 2016” and “Student Leaders’ Choice of 2016 Election Awareness Program,” which will be given to a media outfit that sends messages in the interest of the public and to a program that equally features candidates and their platforms, respectively.

Thomasian students also selected programs, campaigns, and personalities that embody Catholic virtues in the 33 other categories under the News and Public Affairs, and Entertainment clusters.
