San Beda College Alabang kicks off 50th founding anniversary celebration in July

2022 is a remarkable milestone year for San Beda College Alabang: the school will kick off its 50th Founding Anniversary celebrations in July.

A Catholic educational institution administered by the Order of Saint Benedict in the Philippines, San Beda College Alabang in Alabang Hills Village, Barangay Cupang, Muntinlupa City, is an autonomous private K-12 and college affiliated with San Beda University in Manila.

It is the proud alma mater of respected and well-rounded individuals who were shaped and molded on the principles of Ora et Labora (Prayer and Work). The Bedan leadership and community recognize that to succeed and live a meaningful life, one relies on God through prayer and exemplifies hard work in whatever one's call in life.

The past five decades of continued growth and success have shown that every student and member of the Bedan community has a chance to learn, grow and flourish in the ways of Benedictine excellence.

The school's Golden Anniversary will be commemorated throughout the year. The celebrations start on July 12, San Beda College Alabang's Foundation Day. The kick-off Jubilee celebration is a concert featuring the Philippine Madrigal Singers and the unveiling of the first segment of the historical gallery walk.

A momentous two-day event at the Activity Center of Alabang Town Center happens on August 27 and 28, 2022. A showcase of 50 years of Bedan heritage, the event will feature a gallery of Bedan history; special performances by bands, Bedan alumni, and professional talents such as the Bedan Pep Squad, San Beda Choral, DJ Silverfilter, and other renowned artists in the music industry; and a marketplace or booth installations by various Bedan sellers.

Several activities are lined up for the entire academic year to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of San Beda College Alabang.
