Experience the Joy and Peace of Easter Season Through General Conference Rebroadcast in the Philippines

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is gearing up for one of the most anticipated events of the year: the rebroadcast of the General Conference. This year’s event is set to take place from Thursday, April 6 to Saturday, April 8, 2023, on GMA. Millions of people in the Philippines will be tuning in to hear inspiring messages of hope and renewal from living prophets and apostles.

The General Conference is an opportunity for individuals to learn about Jesus Christ, strengthen their personal relationships with the Savior, and experience the peace, hope, and joy that come through following Him. All Latter-day Saints, friends of the Church, and others are encouraged and invited to participate.

According to a letter from the First Presidency of the Church, "General conference provides an opportunity to receive personal revelation as general Church leaders give counsel and direction."

During the Easter season we can strengthen our faith in Jesus Christ and share His gospel with others as we consider His life and mission and to receive messages of hope, peace, the reality of immortality, and the possibility of eternal life through the Savior’s atoning sacrifice.

What is General Conference?

General conference is the worldwide gathering of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Twice a year, during the first weekend of April and the first weekend of October, Church leaders from around the world share messages or sermons focused on the living Christ and His gospel. Viewers learn how to find peace, hope, and joy in Jesus Christ; how to strengthen families by following Jesus’s teachings; and how to receive personal guidance and inspiration from God.

General conference is streamed and broadcast live in about 70 languages and is later translated into more than 100 languages. Everyone—of all faiths, beliefs, and backgrounds from everywhere in the world— is invited to watch, listen, and participate.
