Be doble-panatag this holiday season because you can get free insurance when you swap to Solane LPG or purchase a new Solane LPG with refill.

From Nov. 15 to Dec. 31, 2023, Solane LPG is partnering with Malayan Insurance to give away three months of free personal accident with fire cash assistance insurance for customers who purchase through Metro Manila Solane Hatid Bahay numbers, nationwide web ordering platform or Solane LPG app.

Customers in Metro Manila may order by calling the Solane Hatid Bahay Hotline at 8887-5555. For those who prefer to order through the Solane nationwide web ordering platform or Solane LPG app, simply purchase a new Solane LPG tank with refill by adding the ‘Solane Malayan Insurance Promo’ SKU to your cart, select your preferred delivery date and wait for your new Solane tank to arrive right at your doorstep. Each registered customer is entitled to a maximum of one (1) purchase of Solane Malayan Insurance Promo SKU throughout the promo.

Customers who want to switch to Solane LPG must ensure that their non-Solane cylinders must be in good working condition. Japanese 11 kg cylinders with flat handlebars do not qualify for free swapping and additional charges will apply upon swapping. Solane showrooms reserve the right to verify and inspect the customer’s tank condition.

To be eligible for the promo, customer must complete and declare their full name, birthdate, address, e-mail address, mobile number, and date of purchase of Solane LPG. They will then receive a confirmation via their registered mobile number five (5) working days after their LPG is delivered regarding their Policy Details once confirmed with Malayan Insurance.  

Insurance Coverage and Claims

Only one individual, not less than eighteen (18) years old or more than sixty-four (64) years old, can be covered by personal accident insurance. The insurance coverage starts at 12:00 noon following the date delivered and will expire three months later.  

The insurance covers PHP 10,000 for accidental death, PHP 10,000 for total permanent disability due to accidental cause, up to PHP 5,000 in cash assistance in case of fire, and up to PHP 10,000 for dismemberment and disablement due to accidental cause, subject to indemnity relative to the extent of the injury.

Should the customer need to claim their insurance, they may accomplish the requirements stated in the Certificate of Coverage and call Malayan Insurance at (632) 8628-8628 or (632) 8242-8888 local 8628; send an email to csc@malayan.com; go to https://malayan.com/claims-and-support/claims-form and fill out the form; or visit Malayan Insurance Customer Service Counter at 4th Floor Yuchengco Tower, 500 Quintin Paredes Street, Binondo, Manila.

Malayan Insurance will acknowledge receipt of claim documents and review the complete, accurate claim documents from the customer. Once complete, Malayan Insurance claims department shall settle all valid claims within ten (10) working days through wire transfer, directly to the customer from receipt of the signed Quitclaim and Bank Details Form and valid government ID of the Insured/beneficiary.
