Google+ allows global broadcasts on 'Hangouts'

Users of Google’s social network Google+ can now broadcast their conversation to the world after the network’s “Hangouts On Air” feature went global. Engineering director Chee Chew said that while Hangouts On Air was launched last year, it was available to a limited number of broadcasters, enabling them to go live with friends and fans. “Today we’re excited to launch Hangouts On Air to Google+ users worldwide.
