Google+ rolls out pan, zoom feature for photos

Users of Google's social network Google+ may now explore their photos there further with new pan and zoom functions.

 

Users can use their mouse wheel to zoom in and out, and click and drag to pan, according to Google+ technical lead Dave Cohen.

 

"Google+ is full of amazing photos, and today we're introducing the ability to pan and zoom when viewing photos from your desktop," Cohen said in a Google+ post.

 

For now, the feature is available on desktop computers.

 

Cohen said users can use these features by opening a large photo in the lightbox, then using the mouse.

 

"Higher resolution photos will offer more to explore, so we're excited to launch pan and zoom just weeks after launching full-size backups of your Android photos," he said. — TJD, GMA News
