Instagram improves photo, video for iOS 7 app

Photo-sharing service Instagram this week launched a new app for iOS 7, the latest version of the operating system for Apple mobile devices.

 

Instagram rolled out version 4.2 of its app - which is optimized for iOS 7 - to the App Store, tech site Mashable reported.

 

Mashable described the upgrade as having new features and a new look, "similar to that of other iOS 7 apps."

 

"Photos in your feed are larger, and both the photos and videos are displayed at an increased resolution. Photos and videos can also be expanded to display on the edges of your screen," it added.

 

Also, it said content appears larger in grid view.

 

Apple earlier released iOS 7, a major operating system upgrade for iPhones, iPads and iPod touch devices. — TJD, GMA News
