A Star Trek Christmas? Make it so!

More than 25 years after first uttering his trademark quote "Make it so," Star Trek: The Next Generation's Captain Jean-Luc Picard now stars in a viral YouTube Christmas mashup of "Let It Snow."

 

YouTube user "jamescovenant" assembled video clips of Picard and his crew reciting the lyrics of the classic Christmas song.

 

The video, published on Dec. 3, gained over half a million views and over 10,000 likes as of Thursday morning, Manila time.

 

Also "performing" in the video mashup are members of Picard's crew, including First Officer William T. Riker, Second Officer Lt. Cmdr. Data, chief engineer Geordi La Forge medical officer Beverly Crusher and son Ensign Wesley Crusher, and counselor Deanna Troi.

 

A separate report on tech site Mashable described the video as a "new take on a holiday classic."

 

"The rest of the cast joins in on the out-of-this-world mashup. So if the weather outside is frightful, let Riker, La Forge, Worf and Troi warm you by the fire," it said. — TJD, GMA News
