Sesame Street's 'Lord of the Rings' parody teaches good manners —and Ian McKellen's in it too!

Trust children's educational show "Sesame Street" to make a smashing getaway of a spoof of a popular film.

 

Sesame Street's not only managed to spoof the "Lord of the Rings" franchise, it also got actor Ian McKellen, who plays Gandalf in the film, in on the act:

 

 

A separate report on tech site Mashable said the spoof of J.R.R. Tolkien's classic stars Cookie Monster as Gobble, the "last known holder of the most powerful dessert recipe in Monster Earth."

 

"He must remember the recipe in order to bring cookies back to the land, but his own memory and lack of self control stand in the way," it said.

 

Mashable said guest appearances include "Gandalf the Grey and an oven that looks suspiciously like Mt. Doom."

 

"Looks like all you need are some manners in Middle Earth to get by Gandalf," it said. — TJD, GMA News
