This year's ‘Golden Tweet’ is from Glee's Lea Michele

Microblogging site, Twitter, has just recently released the "Golden Tweets" for 2013 on their @YearonTwitter.

 

Parry Singh, Managing Director of Twitter  in Southeast Asia, India and MENA shared that this year's "Golden Tweet" is that of the Glee star, Lea Michelle. The tweet has garnered almost 400,000 retweets.

 

The Glee lead actress broke her silence on July 29, 2013, a few days after the passing of her on-screen and off-screen boyfriend, Cory Monteith and posted the following tweet with their photo.
 

Cory Monteith, who rose to fame on the hit Fox show "Glee," died at the age of 31 on July 13, 2013. He was found dead inside his hotel room in Vancouver, British Columbia, around noon local time. 

 

The two other most retweeted tweets in 2013 are from the team of the late Paul Walker and One Direction member, Niall Horan.
