Play-Doh in a sticky situation over ‘icing maker’


Parents stood up and took notice of one of Hasbro's latest toys recently, and not in a good way.
 
Many took to social media over the holidays to complain about the company's Play-Doh Cake Mountain playset, which comes with an extruder that some likened to a penis.
 
LiveJournal blog "Oh No They Didn't!" said the problem came to a head during the holidays when Hasbro allegedly deleted comments from parents about the toy.




The blog also went on to cite some observers' wry remarks about the toy:

Tulsa's KTUL TV indicated the row started way back in November, where the controversial toy part was changed after consumer feedback.
 
"We have heard some consumer feedback about the extruder tool in the Play-Doh Cake Mountain play set and are in the process of updating all future Play-Doh products with a different tool," it quoted a Hasbro statement as saying . — Joel Locsin/TJD, GMA News
