WATCH: Video of Metro Manila’s New Year’s Eve fireworks gets ‘bonkers’ description

"Bonkers." This was how a tech site on Friday (PHL time) described the fireworks lighted in Metro Manila to welcome 2015.

"Sorry, New York, Sydney and London – Manila's fireworks dominated New Year's Eve celebrations," Mashable said, citing a video posted on YouTube that depicted the New Year's Eve fireworks in Metro Manila.

The YouTube video, which lasted nearly three minutes, was taken from what the poster described as "the tallest building in the country."

It showed fireworks from various parts of Metro Manila as 2015 rolled in.

As of Friday morning, the video had gained 447,129 views.

"Colorful explosions blasted in every corner of the Philippines' capital city as revelers set off fireworks to celebrate 2015. Footage shot from a central skyscraper shows the vibrant, deafening and quite dangerous chaos of the festivities," Mashable's Annie Colbert wrote.

Fireworks – particularly an alleged wayward kwitis (baby rocket) – had been blamed for a deadly fire that hit a residential area in Quezon City early Thursday. — Joel Locsin/LBG, GMA News
