Pope Francis to ‘Hangout’ with kids online

Pope Francis isn’t shy about using social media and technology to spread the Church’s message. The pope has over 17 million followers across his nine Twitter accounts, and now he’s using Google Hangouts to reach out to connect with children from all around the world.

According to Carlo D’Asaro Biondo, Google's president for Strategic Relationships, Pope Francis will be hosting his second Google Hangout live from the Vatican.

The pope will be engaging in conversations with children from India, Spain, Brazil, and the U.S. The Hangout will take place on February 5, at 4:00 pm CET (around 11:00 pm Manila time). You can follow it live from the Scholas Google+ page.
