Exclusive Chinese 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' trailer reveals new footage

An exclusive trailer from China dropped a stunning amount of new footage from the most awaited film in recent memory, "Star Wars: The Force Awakens."

The trailer featured more complete scenes of what was hinted at in the official trailer released a couple months ago, giving more insight on the new droid, BB8, and the dynamics of the new heroes: Rey, Finn, and Poe.

It also featured more airtime for the villains, the evil triumvirate Kylo Ren, General Hux and Captain Phasma, as well as fight scenes that showed off the special effects boasted by visionary director JJ Abrams.

"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" will open across the Philippines on Thursday, Dec. 17.
