Steve Harvey apologizes to 'Miss Philippians' after Miss Universe screwup

Steve Harvey was the source of major confusion in the Miss Universe pageant after announcing the wrong winner.

But the American comedian just can't stop making mistakes, it seems.

In an apology to Twitter, Harvey said sorry to "Miss Philippians" instead of "Miss Philippines" Pia Wurtzbach, who was crowned Miss Universe 2015 after the confusion.

 

Harvey has since deleted the tweet with the incorrect spelling.

Moments later, he tweeted another set of apologies... this time with the correct spelling.

I'd like to apologize wholeheartedly to Miss Colombia & Miss Philippines for my huge mistake. I feel terrible.

Secondly, I'd like to apologize to the viewers at that I disappointed as well. Again it was an honest mistake.
