Jamie Foxx helps save man's life from burning truck
A man was spared from death when actor Jamie Foxx rushed to get him out of his truck seconds before it was fully engulfed in flames.
Saving a person's life by pulling him out of a burning vehicle sounds like something that should be left to Superman, but Foxx claims that he was simply helping and helping is not exclusively done by heroes.
According to the police report, the man was speeding and he lost control of his truck, which slipped into a ditch and flipped several times before catching fire. Upon hearing the crash, Foxx immediately went out and came to the driver's aid.
The driver, Brad Kyle, said that CCTV footage revealed that several cars passed by the crash site and did not stop to help. Luckily, an EMT or Emergency Medical Technician was driving in the area and stopped to offer assistance. The EMT had a pair of scissors in his vehicle, which Foxx used to cut Kyle's seatbelt.
This news comes at the heels of a local tragedy, where six lives were lost in a car crash in Tagaytay. Witnesses claimed that a nurse tried to save the people inside, but was advised to wait for the police. They also claimed that the police left the scene of the crash to file a report. The police denied these allegations. —Aya Tantiangco/JST, GMA News
