78-year-old woman deadlifts 225 lbs. and sets new #Fitspiration goals
Working out to get that beach body? There's more to exercise than getting abs as illustrated by Shirley Webb, a septuagenarian power lifter. At 78-years-old, Webb is impressing and inspiring attendees at the Club Fitness in Wood River, Illinois.
Two years ago, she was seemingly succumbing to old age. According to a report by ESPN, before she started working out, she had trouble climbing stairs and getting up from a seated position without help. Now, she can do those things by herself...and she can also deadlift 225 lbs. and more.
How's that for fitness goals?
