Minute Details: The miting de avance as seen on Twitter

It's the last hurrah for the candidates on May 7 (Saturday), which marks the end of the campaign period.

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) issued an advisory on the possible heavy traffic as presidential candidates will hold their Miting de Avance, hoping to reach the undecided voters and perhaps even convince some to make a switch.

Alas, not all goes according to plan—for both the candidate and some unwitting people on the road. Twitter user @flamesilox documented his accidental participation when she wandered into Vice President Jejomar Binay's rally in Makati.

In the car with her was user @unfathomedstars, who jokingly said, "We got stuck in Binay traffic."

Meanwhile, Mayor Rodrigo Duterte's supporters are on the defensive after reports of sabotage floated hours ahead of his Miting de Avance in Rizal Park (formerly Luneta).

The mayor and Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago are sharing colors, with his supporters choosing to wear red to compliment their "Duterte" baller bands.

Instead of a Miting de Avance, however, Senator Santiago's camp is hosting a street party called the "Miriam REDvolution."

As expected, supporters of Liberal Party bet Mar Roxas are scrambling to find their yellow best for his unity walk.

The controversial comic book "Sa Gitna ng Unos" might also make an appearance at his Miting de Avance:

At Plaza Miranda, the stage is set for Senator Grace Poe. Stray #atrasnaPoe tweets can be found on social media, curiously calling for her to withdraw in favor of Vice President Binay instead of Roxas, but her loyal fans are set to meet her for her final Miting de Avance.

A handul, though, are throwing in their support for a very special candidate.
