AlDub emoji dominates with 6.6M anniv tweets

AlDub Nation celebrated the first anniversary of the phenomenal love team of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza, dominating the Twitter conversation for Saturday.

The social networking platform joined the festivities by launching a special emoji for the hashtag #ALDUB1stAnniversary.

It was the first emoji for any television program in Southeast Asia.

According to Twitter, AlDub fans posted over 6.6 million tweets on July 16. —JST, GMA News
