Boys in Aklan use bamboo sticks in ‘gun battle’

A video of several young males playing with improvised toy guns in Kalibo, Aklan became a hot topic in social media.

A report on 24 Oras Weekend said on Saturday said the video has been viewed more than 200,000 times on the internet.

According to some residents, bamboo sticks were used as toy guns loaded with wet papers as bullets.

The improvised toy guns are also called sumpak in other provinces.

The residents also said that the boys are just playing, but they are aware that they might hurt each other.
