Instagram rolls out ‘save’ feature, lets users bookmark posts

Photo and video sharing platform Instagram launched on December 14 a new feature that lets you save posts from other users—and the great part is they won't be able to tell that you bookmarked it.

A bookmark icon will soon be rolled out for each post shared on Instagram. Tapping on it will save it in a private tab, which you can view on your own profile.

The update was released by Instagram on Wednesday, available for both iOS and Android users.

Instead of using up memory space on your phone by taking screenshots, this latest feature will let users revisit posts instead. 

"When you stumble upon a funny video you want to remember, a new outfit you like, or even inspiration for an upcoming vacation, you can now keep track of favorite posts right from your profile," Instagram said in a press statement. — Jannielyn Ann Bigtas / AT, GMA News
