5-year-old Filipina wows netizens with abstract paintings
A 5-year-old Filipina artist living in Oakland, California has made a splash in various social media platforms, after pictures of her paintings were put up online.
Lilly, also known as LilWonton, is wowing netizens with her abstract paintings, all of which feature aliens.
A report by Nelson Canlas in "24 Oras" on Saturday said that Lilly started painting when she was only a year old.
Her mother, Jamie Lynn Medina, was the one to post her work in Twitter. Her tweet quickly went viral, and it currently has close to 17,000 likes.

Many have noted that her work are comparable to famous abstract painters, like American painter Jean-Michel Basquiat.
"She kinda went viral on Twitter and got some attention from celebrities here, like she's been everywhere. She also got a lot of attention in Instagram and now she's doing all this art. It's really exciting, I get to tell her all the comments that everyone says on all her pictures," Medina said.
"It makes her feel really good that her art is getting such positive feedback from everyone from everywhere," she added.
