Mariel de Leon calls out bashers: 'Mag move on nga kayo!'

Mariel de Leon has had enough.

In a series of tweets over the weekend, the Filipina beauty queen Mariel de Leon called out her haters who have been writing fake news items about her.

"Dont you guys have anything better to do? Mag move on nga kayo hahaha" she wrote on the social media platform, attaching a screengrab of a fake news item on her.

In her follow-up tweet, de Leon used stronger language to shut them down. "Crappy editing and grammar. Better luck next time," read a portion of her tweet that was accompanied by another screengrab of yet another fake news item.

She wrapped up her rant with screengrab of her long message, addressing the alleged persons behind the fake news items. "Rachel is doing a great job and I'm so proud of her so why would she need advice in the first place? I don't get why I would supposedly post it on Facebook when I can just message her directly," read a part of her message.

In the caption, Rachel admits she doesn't "even know if Karenina Saulo is a real person or a fake name."
