Cherie Gil splashes water on people's faces in ‘The Real Lavinia Arguelles’ IG account
Cherie Gil is having a ball on Instagram! Apart from her personal account, @macherieamor, the amazing actress is also behind the account @the_real_lavinia_arguelles.
For people in the back, Lavinia Arguelles is a fictional character Cheri played in the ‘80s; the villain to Sharon Cuneta’s Dorina Pineda in the movie “Bituing Walang Ningning.”
In the Lavinia IG account, Cherie posts videos featuring actors and personalities willfully playing victim to Cherie —always in character as Lavinia, mind — as she utters those famous lines:” You’re nothing but a second-rate trying hard copycat.”
Of course, it’s never complete without Cherie/Lavinia splashing her glass of water unto their faces.

On Lavinia’s IG bio, Cherie wrote: “My mission : to arrive to 100 victims and relive this 1986 iconic scene with every relevant person I meet in the 21st century.”
It’s not a new account, with the first post, featuring advertising executive David Guerrero, dated May 6, 2017.
But it’s only gaining traction these past few days, bringing up the total number posts to…seven. So far, personalities featured includes actors Paulo Avelino, Bea Alonzo, Ricky Davao, Chef JP Anglo, and Kapuso journalist Atom Araullo.
