Hagonoy, Bulacan resident, Rodrigo Tumalad invented the thing we need the most in times like this: a 9-foot tall bicycle that can be used even when flooding strikes.

Flooding is exactly why the 68-year-old Tumalad invented the baha-sikleta, as he calls it: So he’ll have transportation whenever his town gets flooded.

The baha-sikleta features an extra sheet of metal attached from the top and the seat tubes, which acts as an extra step the rider will have to climb in order to sit on the very high saddle.
