Pinoys in Thailand sang the Lupang Hinirang as they celebrated Filipina beauty queen Catriona Gray's victory in the Miss Universe 2018 competition.

YouScooper Angelo Camaya captured the jubilant scene of a group of proud Pinoys raising their mini Philippine flags as they sang the country's national anthem.

Miss Universe 2017 Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters passed on the Mikimoto crown to Catriona at the coronation event.

Catriona stole the show during the evening gown and swimsuit competition, she also had her answer in the Q&A portion as another one of her weapons to winning the title.

Catriona is Philippines' fourth beauty queen to be crowned as Miss Universe after Pia Wurtzbach (2015), Gloria Diaz (1969) and Margarita Moran (1973). — LA, GMA News
