Rock band Queen calls DLSU’s winning number at the UAAP streetdance competition ‘incredible stuff’

DLSU didn’t just win their fourth street dance competition in the UAAP, the squad from Taft got a major endorsement from none other than…Queen.

Uh huh, as in Bohemian Rhapsody, We are the Champions Queen.

On Instagram, the rock band’s official account posted a snippet of DLSU’s Queen-inspired routine and called on their 2.8 million followers to”watch this amazing Queen-themed routine by the La Salle Dance Company.”

The English rockers even shared their favorite bit: “the ‘Ay-oh’ section.”

“Incredible stuff,” the band said and posted a link of the full 3-minute version of the routine on their bio.

DLSU won the competition last Saturday with 86.5 points. Last year’s winners, FEU took home second place with 85 points, and the NU at third place with 83.25.
