Mayor Vico Sotto slams netizen who criticized him for watching SEA Games with Gretchen Ho during Typhoon Tisoy
Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto on Wednesday answered a netizen who was critical of him after he was spotted watching the SEA Games volleyball opening match last Tuesday with Gretchen Ho.
On Twitter, a netizen with the the name Simoun Rebolusyonaryo tweeted a screenshot of the mayor and the volleyball player watching the game next to each other at PhilSports Arena in Pasig.
"Kung bumabaha sa Pasig at this very moment at kailangan ng agarang aksyon, your Mayor is seen with a Ho! May good time si Yorme sa panahon ng bagyo!" read the caption accompanying the netizen's photo.
"Lahat na lang ginagawang politika," Vico began his reply, adding to please save Pasig City from fake news because even at the typhoon's strongest, there was no flooding in Pasig.
"Wag nyo naman idamay ang pasig sa fake news dahil kahit nung kalakasan ng ulan nung 2pm hindi bumaha sa Pasig."
