Couple's road to forever started with a click of the wave emoji

Kate and Gian's love story started in 2017 when the latter sent a wave emoji in messenger.

Kate responded with a wave of her own, getting the conversation going.

At the time, Gian was based in Italy, while she was in the Philippines, but it didn't stop love from blooming between them.

And when Gian came home, Kate was there to greet him at the airport.

The two then decided to marry, and a photo shows the two grinning from ear to ear after tying the knot.
