Frontliner with COVID-19 creates TikTok videos to ease his family's worries

A frontliner who got infected with the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has turned to TikTok videos to ease his family's worries.

Nico Torreon, 28, is a nursing assistant at the St. Lukes Medical Center in Bonifacio Global City.

According to JP Soriano's report in "24 Oras," he makes dance covers to assure his family in Mindanao that he is in good condition.

In one video, Nico can be seen in a hospital gown while grooving to "Fight Song" beside his bed.

He is still suffering from a sore throat, but he doesn't have a fever and headache anymore.

Nico said he also does the videos to encourage other COVID-19 patients to lift their spirits. --MGP, GMA News
