Vico Sotto addresses nude background Zoom bombing incident amid conference
Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto on Thursday addressed the Zoom bombing incident that happened during his Wednesday video conference with the Foreign Correspondents Association of the Philippines (FOCAP).
In a tweet, Sotto said he was on a Zoom call with Senator Win Gatchalian, fellow mayors, and policy experts discussing enhanced community quarantine exit strategies.
"Thankfully, this Zoom Conference, walang participant na nag-background ng naka-BOLD," he said, referencing Wednesday's embarrassing incident.

Zoom bombings — when the application is hacked and individuals can enter on-going video calls — have been on the rise as offices all over the world, on a work from home scheme, have become reliant on the online video conferencing application.
Just last Friday, Trolls hacked into women rights groups' online seminar and showed lewd photos and played vulgar sounds.
According to a report on Agence France-Presse, Zoom has rolled out a number of measures on how they have been handling security measures after several users report "Zoom bombing" incidents.
Zoom said they are building systems "detect whether people are trying out username and password pairings and block them from trying again."
They have also updated the video conferencing app with a toolbar to easily access features that will allow users to lock chats from strangers and making meeting password requirements a default setting.
According to Zoom chief executive Eric Yuan, the number of people participating in Zoom meetings daily has reached 200 million in March from just 10 million at the end of last year.
