Sia issued a public apology after confusing Cardi B for Nicki Minaj on Twitter.
The Australian singer, famous for her 2014 hit ‘Chandelier,’ made the mix-up when she replied to a Twitter user who asked if she would ever collaborate with Minaj.
According to E! Online, Sia’s reply said: “I love @iamcardib And although this isn't a collaboration, I would love to COLLAB with her any day!”
I totally misunderstood a tweet earlier that has resulted in me making a buffoon out of myself.

Sorry @NICKIMINAJ and @iamcardib if you hear about it.
Can I just like you both?
The singer reportedly also published a series of tweets referring to the feud between Cardi B and Minaj.
"I don't give a s--t about feuds," said one tweet. "George Floyd was f--king murdered. Breonna Taylor. Murdered. Come on let's rise in unity. You think @iamcardib and Nikki [sic] are so petty that they would want you focusing on a silly feud instead of REAL NEWS."
Netizes did not take Sia’s tweets lightly, especially as it took place in the wake of Black Lives Matter protests across the US.
The singer has since deleted the tweets and offered an apology, tweeting: "I totally misunderstood a tweet earlier that has resulted in me making a buffoon out of myself.”
"Sorry @NICKIMINAJ and @iamcardib if you hear about it. Can I just like you both?"
Neither Nicki Minaj or Cardi B appears to have acknowledged the situation on social media as of this report.
Nevertheless, Sia’s tweets drew the ire of thousands of netizens, with some Twitter users using hashtags like #SiaIsOverParty.
