Floyd Mayweather approached for ‘exhibition’ fight with Logan Paul–TMZ

Floyd Mayweather Jr. has reportedly been approached for a fight with controversial YouTuber Logan Paul.

According to TMZ, a source confirmed that the undefeated boxing legend has been approached with an offer to fight this year but there was “no deal yet.”

“We’re told the fight was not pitched as a sanctioned bout—but rather an exhibition,” the report added.

TMZ also brought up the alleged show-match with Paul himself when spotted at LAX but the internet star declined to speak on the matter.

“You know I can’t say sh*t right now,” he was heard saying in the video.

Mayweather has not fought professionally since defeating Conor McGregor in 2017.

Match or no match, the issue has already caused quite a hype on Twitter.

Logan’s fellow YouTuber, Keemstar, tweeted that he had inside-information telling him Mayweather would step back into the ring to fight Paul.

As bizarre as it seems, this would not be the first time Logan Paul is facing someone in the boxing ring.

The American internet star and his fellow YouTuber Olajide Olatunji, known online as KSI, had an amateur fight last year. – Margaret Claire Layug/RC, GMA News
