This guy surprised his girlfriend with sunflowers he planted and grew himself

Receiving flowers is nice, but receiving flowers one planted himself is priceless.

A college student from San Fernando, Pampanga documented how he grew his own sunflowers so he could surprise his girlfriend with a bouquet of it.

"I can proudly say that I planted these. Di kailangan ng okasyon to make your girl happy," Angelo Aquino wrote in a sweet Facebook post.

Angelo shared pictures and videos of his plants' progress, starting from when they were seeds up until they grew taller than even him.

He also shared photos of his girlfriend Jona Pare, who was all smiles as she held the bouquet of sunflowers.

"There’s nothing sweeter than growing your own plants, and giving them to someone you love. Taking care of the plants, talking to them, and watching them grow. You’ll have the pride," Angelo said.

"I hope you guys do the same. Kase hindi mabibili ng kahit anong pera ang pagmamahal," he added. —JCB, GMA News
