Lady Gaga helped usher in the United States' new administration by singing the country's national anthem during Inauguration Day.

The performance was definitely applause-worthy, but netizens couldn't help but notice the large pin that sat on the left side of her chest.

The American pop star shared a close-up of the photo, revealing it to be a dove carrying an olive branch.

"May we all make peace with each other," she captioned.

However, people were reminded of something else altogether — particularly the mockingjay pin in the popular book and film series, "The Hunger Games."

Combined with the rest of her outfit and look, it seemed that netizens saw similarities between her and Effie Trinket.
