Web developer names his son Hypertext Markup Language

A newborn baby in Santa Maria, Bulacan has been named Hypertext Markup Language or "HTML" for short.

The baby boy hails from the Pascual family whose members have unusual names—his dad is named Macaroni '85, and his aunts are named Spaghetti '88 and Sincerely Yours '98.

According Sincerely Yours '98, whose nickname is Truly, her brother is a web developer and wanted to name his son after a terminology used in his field.

"Bata pa lang si kuya ko, gusto na niya na profession-related 'yung name ng baby niya. Since unique din names namin, napili niya ay HTML," Truly said.

Truly went viral in 2013 when she was listed among the passers of the University of the Philippines College Admission Test (UPCAT).

That's when the Pascual siblings became internet famous for their names.

Meanwhile, HTML has a cousin named Cheese Pimiento, the child of Spaghetti.  Spaghetti, Macaroni, and Truly also have cousins named Design and Research.

HTML was born on Thursday.
