Amid Facebook outage, Twitter be like: 'Hello literally everyone'
Amid the hours-long Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp outage all through Monday night (Philippine time), Twitter issued a greeting to everyone: "hello literally everyone."
And as of writing, the tweet generated nearly 864,000 retweets, 3 million likes, and more than 100K replies from the official Twitter accounts of WhatsApp, Instagram, Microsoft Teams, KFC, OnlyFans, Peppa Pig, Diablo, and McDonalds just to name a few.
As though that's not enough, celebrities like Adele and Gordon Ramsay also joined in on the fun and said their hellos.

Internet users flocked to Twitter as soon as the outage started on Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.
According to a Reuters report, the three apps went down around noon Eastern time (1600 GMT).
Citing website monitoring group Downdetector, Reuters said it was "the largest" failure it has ever seen.
The report additionally said that it was the second blow to Facebook days after a whistleblower accused the company of prioritizing profit over clamping down on hate speech and misinformation.
"To every small and large business, family, and individual who depends on us, I'm sorry," Facebook Chief Technology Officer Mike Schroepfer tweeted, adding that it "may take some time to get to 100%."
The report said security experts noted that the disruption might have happened due to an internal mistake, also theoretically considering that it can also be a sabotage by an insider.
Some users began to regain partial access to the three apps around 7am Tuesday (Philippine time). — Jannielyn Ann Bigtas/LA, GMA News
