Friends' game of chance winner pays resto bill

A group of officemates turned to draw lots using ATM cards to determine who among them will pay the cost of the meal they shared in a restaurant in Pasay City.

According to a report on "State of the Nation" on Wednesday, the group had buffer dinner together when they decided to try a novel way to choose who pays for the meal.

In a video uploaded in social media, one group member raised the cards spread out in one hand like playing cards. Then they asked their waitress to pick one card among the bunch.

The owner of the card she picks will foot the bill.

The group decided to draw lots after they received their salary and as they expect their 13th month pay soon.
