‘Baby Shark’ is the first YouTube video to reach 10 billion views

“Baby Shark,” the hit song loved by babies and children all over the world, has just reached 10 billion views, an important milestone both for the video and YouTube.

According to a CNN report, “Baby Shark” is not only the most viewed video on the platform, it is also the first to reach 10 billion views, as confirmed by YouTube.

The song was released in 2016 by South Korean educational company Pinkfong.

“Today we mark history with our special milestone!” Pinkfong shared on its Facebook page Thursday.

The “Baby Shark” video shows two children dancing while an animated shark and its family try to hunt them. The kids, however, end up safe from harm and they all dance together. – RC, GMA News
