This teacher can do voice impressions of at least 30 film and cartoon characters

This teacher from Pangasinan has been stunning audiences with his accurate voice impressions of at least 30 cartoon and film characters, such as those on the Harry Potter series.

On Athena Imperial’s “24 Oras” report, Wednesday, Sean Carambias said his favorite character to impersonate was Severus Snape, who was played by the late Alan Rickman.

“Kakaiba kasi ’yung boses niya at saka medyo mabagal lang so ’pag ginaya, parang calm ka lang, ganon ’yung feeling,” said Sean.

[His voice is unique and he talks slowly, so when I do my impression, all I have to do is stay calm. That’s how it feels.]

He recently joined Cherished Moments School’s “Teachers Got Talent” contest, where he won first place for his voice impressions. Among the characters he gave life to were Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Dobby.

The teacher also wowed viewers with his impersonations of chef Gordon Ramsay, the Mario Brothers, Squidward, and Patrick Star, among other characters. As of writing, his winning video has garnered over 6,500 views.

Apart from entertaining people, Sean said he wanted his Grade 3 students to have some fun while learning at the same time.

“Before ako mag-start ng bagong topic sa reading, nagbabasa po ako ng stories sa kanila wherein nag-iiba-iba rin po ako ng boses,” he said.

[Before we start a new topic in reading, I read stories to them where I also use different voices.]

“That way, nae-enjoy nila ’yung story and ang dami nilang nasasabi after namin basahin ’yung isang story.”

[That way, they are able to enjoy the story and share their thoughts on it.]
