3-year-old girl cries after hearing 'Papa Jesus is dead,' warms hearts of netizens

A three-year-old girl warmed many hearts online when she burst into tears after hearing from her yaya that Papa Jesus is already dead.

In Mark Salazar's report for "24 Oras," Thursday, the girl, Margot, can be seen crying her heart out and feeling sad about what she learned.

According to her parents, they have taught Margot to always thank Papa Jesus for all the blessings they receive.

"Every night pag nag-pe-pray kami si Papa Jesus talaga 'yung kinakausap namin. We say thank you, then we say sorry. So siguro nagulat siya na bakit biglang namatay si Papa Jesus," said her mother.

["Every night when we pray, we talk to Papa Jesus. We say thank you, then we say sorry. So perhaps she was surprised why Papa Jesus suddenly died."]

The parents had to find a way to make their daughter understand the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

"I tried to explain it in the most simplest way na lang na Jesus has died already a very long time ago but eventually he rose again, after that he forever lives in our hearts," her father said.

So now when asked where is Papa Jesus, Margot answers:

"In the heart of the family."
