A real-life ‘Tom and Jerry’ exists in the Philippines and of course it’s on TikTok

If you grew up watching the cartoon series “Tom and Jerry,” then you must see this viral video of a real-life cat and mouse playing!

On Thursday, “Hirit Good Vibes” on “Unang Hirit” showed a TikTok video where a cat could be seen trying to catch a mouse in a kitchen.

The video uploaded by TikTok user @cheetochechi featured his two-year-old Puspin (pusang Pinoy or Filipino cat) Chito.

“POV: nag ampon ng pusa para sa daga,” @cheetochechi wrote on the caption as a joke, referring to his cat being all friendly to the mouse instead of killing it. How adorable, Chito!

As of writing, the video has amassed over 1.2 million views and more than 180,000 reactions.
