Newlyweds ride backhoe to wedding reception amid flood in Antique

These newlyweds in Sibalom, Antique, did not let anything stop them from celebrating the most special day in their lives.

As seen on a report by Zen Quilantang of GMA Regional TV One Western Visayas on “24 Oras” Wednesday, the Sareno couple rode a backhoe to go to their wedding reception despite flood.

In their bridal gown and white suit, Ivy Alentejan-Sareno and her husband took on the challenge to get on with the ceremony.

“Mixed emotions ang nararamdaman namin ng asawa ko. Pati ninong at ninang namin. Kinabahan sila pero need talaga naming makasakay sa backhoe para ma-celebrate ang wedding sa bahay,” she said.

The couple are grateful to everyone who made their special day possible. Ivy also reminded the viewers that anything could be done with love.

“Ang message ko lang sa mga may planong magpakasal ay hindi hindrance ang maliliit na bagay para mag-give up kasi walang imposible sa taong nagmamahalan,” she said.
