Cat who can no longer walk stars in glow-up photoshoot

A two-year-old cat who can no longer walk starred in a glow-up photoshoot that captured the hearts of many online.

According to Katrina Son's report on "24 Oras Weekend," Sunday, the cat named Arkira is suffering from scoliosis.

The fur dad, Anton Llaneta, said he adopted the kitten after finding it outside of his door one day.

"Nakita po siya nung ka-live-in ko tapos nagsabi po siya sa akin na, 'May kuting doon sa labas, nakakaawa.' Tapos ayun po kinuha na po namin siya," he said.

Anton said Arkira was bitten by one of his pet cats at four months old and that's when the kitten began having difficulty walking.

The veterinarian said the cat can no longer walk and now Arkira can no longer stand on her own.

"Nalungkot po kami sa totoo lang po. Hindi man po siya makalakad
nandito naman po kami magiging paa po ni Arkira," Anton said.

"Mamahalin po namin siya saka ibibigay ko po 'yung best ko po para kay Arkira."

Asked for his advice to other fur parents of differently abled pets, Anton encouraged them to be patient with their babies.

"Sa mga gustong mag-alaga o may mga alaga na mga disabled pets sana po habaan nila 'yung pasensya nila, ibigay nila 'yung tamang pagmamahal sa mga disabled po."
