Social media personality's hilarious beastfighter sketch fetches 1M views on TikTok

What could a beastfighter be doing while the Voltes V team completes their iconic sequence?

That's what vlogger and social media personality Christian Antolin imagined in a TikTok video that has already fetched a million views as of writing.

“’Yung laban na laban ka na sa Voltes 5 kaso pinaghintay ka pa,” Antolin wrote on his TikTok video that showed him wearing a brown dress with a pair of horns, looking incredibly bored as the Voltes V team were, well, volting in.

From dancing to taking a video call, Antolin’s beastfighter tried to keep itself occupied as the Voltes V team completed the iconic sequence.

“Willing to wait naman daw,” he added in the caption.

Antolin's video is just the latest in a sea of memes based on "Voltes V: Legacy" that netizens have been creating and sharing online since the live-action show started airing on TV this week.

Direk Mark Reyes himself has reshared a few of them, clearly amused.
