Padre Salvi says goodbye after his adventures in the real world

It seems that we have seen the last of Padre Salvi in the real world for now.

On Instagram, Wednesday, Juancho Triviño posted the last video of his "Maria Clara at Ibarra" character wandering around with his trusty side-kick Renato (Kiel Rodriguez).

In the clip, Padre Salvi met several children, one of whom asked him if he was from a television show. Staying in character, he said he did not know what they were talking about, but offered to buy them some food.

'Yan ay ang aking bibilhin para sa inyo," he said, gesturing to the nearby street vendor.

The children then thanked the "mahal na kura" together.

"Napakaganda sa aking pandinig. Kayo ay mag-enjoy. Palawakin natin ang ating kaalaman at maging mabait kayo sa mga sugo ng Diyos," he said.

In the caption, Juancho bid goodbye to the fans who have been following Padre Salvi's adventures.

Padre Salvi previously visited a grocery store, a convenience store, a fast food restaurant, the NCAA beach volleyball tournament, and even rode the LRT several times.

The character is one of the villains for the hit historical portal fantasy series "Maria Clara at Ibarra," which is now streaming on Netflix.

We're going to miss you, Padre Salvi!
