TikToker goes viral after losing his wig during a banana boat ride

A TikToker amused netizens with his story about a banana boat incident in a recent outing.

As seen in a report on "State of the Nation" by Oscar Oida, Jefferson Vergara trolled his viewers, saying a "creepy" incident happened during the banana boat ride he took with six of his friends. When they all fell into the water, a stranger surfaced.

"Wala naman kami kasamang kalbo nung nag-banana boat kami," he said.

It turns out that the bald stranger is him — his wig fell off when he hit the water. Jefferson was on a company outing with his coworkers when the incident happened.

"Di ko naramdaman na natanggal siya sa ulo ko," he said, adding that his officemate ended up with the wig.

"Tapos umikot pa ko, 'yung nakatalikod na nga ako sa audience ang dami pang tao sa pampang, may dalawang manager pa doon," he added. "Pero actually, okay lang naman sa akin eh."

Jefferson actually talks openly on his TikTok page about his alopecia, an autoimmune disorder that can lead to hair loss.
