Group of friends throw surprise birthday party but gets the date wrong

Surprise party gone wrong!

A group of friends in Aklan thoughtfully prepared a surprise party for their roommate in June, but little did they know that the surprise would be an epic fail.

In a “Saksi” report on Wednesday, a video by social media user Carl Yvonne Camacho was aired, which showed their carefully planned surprise party.

The barkada prepared everything for the surprise: a birthday cake, a tarpaulin, and a “patay ilaw” effect, but when their roommate finally went out of her room, she was surprised but somewhat confused.

It turned out that her friends got her birthdate wrong, and to prove it, she showed a birth certificate that indicated her actual birthdate is July 25, a month ahead of their surprise.

Ultimately, they just went along with it and spent a night full of laughter.
